Acrylic seating plan for a wedding ceremony

DO I NEED A SEATING PLAN ?

A seating plan at an event can have both pros and cons:

Pros:

Ensures that every guest has a seat: A seating plan ensures that every guest has a designated seat, which means that nobody has to worry about finding a place to sit.

Helps manage the flow of traffic: A seating plan can help to manage the flow of traffic in the venue, ensuring that guests can move around comfortably without overcrowding any particular area.

Helps avoid awkwardness: A seating plan can avoid awkwardness by ensuring that people who are compatible are seated together, and people who may not get along are seated apart.

Helps with catering: A seating plan helps with catering by allowing the caterers to know exactly how many people are sitting at each table, making it easier to serve food and drinks.

Cons:

Time-consuming: Creating a seating plan can be time-consuming and stressful, especially if there are a large number of guests attending the event
May offend some guests: A seating plan may offend some guests if they are not seated with the people they wanted to sit with or end up being seated with people they don't like.
May cause last-minute changes: A seating plan may cause last-minute changes due to guests not showing up or changing their RSVPs.
May not be necessary for smaller functions:  a seating plan may not be necessary, as guests can simply sit where they want and mingle freely.
In summary, a seating plan may have its pros and cons, but it ultimately depends on the size and style of the event, as well as the preferences.
