Celebrating Brave Brands: Bringing Luminara Woman’s Brand Into the Physical World

At Manimani Design Studio, we love seeing what happens when a brand moves from a screen into a physical space.

Recently, we had the opportunity to create and install an 800 × 800mm layered acrylic sign for Luminara Woman, a South African brand focused on women's confidence, wellness and self-care.

What made this project particularly interesting to us wasn't only the finished sign. It was the brand behind it.

A Brand With a Purpose

Luminara Woman has built its brand around confidence, empowerment and creating a more open conversation around women's wellness.

Their approach is centred on providing quality products while creating a shopping experience built around accessibility, privacy and trust.

For a growing brand like this, having a physical presence that reflects the identity they've worked so hard to build matters.

And that's where we came in.

Turning the Logo Into Something Physical

Luminara Woman already had their logo and brand identity.

Our job wasn't to redesign it.

Our job was to bring it to life.

We produced an 800 × 800mm layered acrylic sign, carefully cut and assembled to give their existing logo dimension and presence.

There's something different about seeing a logo you've only seen digitally become a physical object.

It has texture.

It has depth.

And once it's installed, it becomes part of the environment your customers experience.

Installation in Kempton Park

Once production was complete, we headed to Kempton Park for installation.

This is always one of our favourite parts of a signage project.

You've spent time working through the details, selecting materials, cutting, assembling and finishing the piece. Then suddenly, you're standing in front of the actual space and seeing everything come together.

And that final “oh wow, it's actually here” moment never gets old.
